This will be an introduction to Sketchup, an amazingly intuitive 3D modelling program available for free from Google. (If you've seen buildings in Google Earth, they were probably made with Sketchup.) We'll go over the basics, and get some hands-on experience, but don't wait for the workshop! Jon Schull is an Associate Professor in Information Technology at RIT's Golisano College of Computing and Information Science. He teaches courses on "Innovation and Invention", and interaction design. In previous lives he was an internet entrepreneur, and a Biological Psychologist at Haverford College.
